Pianist and Lyrical Soprano in Rome

Classical musician, lyrical singer, opera and Neapolitan song, pop and contemporary music

After achieving my diploma in piano from the Academy of Music S. Pietro a Majella in Naples, I began my teaching career in primary and secondary school, continuing my activities as classical musician, accompanying lyrical singers on the piano.

The world of opera song fascinated me since I first came in contact with it, so I felt the need to study this sector personally.
I started onto a parallel path as a singer which allowed me to improve enormously, both personally and artistically.

I began learning about singing by practicing ancient music (the great polyphonies from the 16th century), following up with lyrical singing (arie from the opera and Neapolitan song), culminating into modern singing and modern pop song.

At this point I needed to integrate my experience with the piano...
So I began studying light piano and jazz, as well as modern harmony and composition, which inevitably led me to the world of electronics - specifically keyboards and composition on the computer…

So it was that the classical musician (pianist and soprano) was joined by the keyboard player and pop singer.

All this without ever leaving my twenty-year career in teaching the piano…
